Mediterranea Saving Humans launched a charity fundraising campaign together with Arci. This campaign was aimed at all Italian taxpayers, that have by law the option of giving 0.5% of their taxes to not-for-profit organizations (the so-called 5X1000 donation). All the money thus collected by Arci in 2019 have been donated to support the mission saving migrants in the Mediterranean sea.

Hence, the goal was to invite people to donate: for this reason the concept underlines the value of every single contribution, as it can actually help Mediterranea Saving Humans stop the humanitarian catastrophe at sea. This way, the target identifes with the objective and really feels the power it can exert with just a simple signature, for a good cause.

Note: the translated title would be “Your signature saves people”. In Italian this wording has a double meaning as “salva gente” literally means “saves people” but, when written in a single word, it identifies the life jacket worn by people that are in distress at sea.
